So, I am not yet ready to go all out for a fancy SLR but still want to take good looking pics. How many mega pixels should I be looking for? Can you have too many? Posted: Sep 5, 2008 10:27am | |
You can have far too many pixels for what you need. A 5MP camera is perfect for taking photos for 4×6 inch prints or even 8×10 prints. Todays cameras are becoming so inexpensive that you might as well look for an 8 or 10 MP because the cost increase is hardly worth basing your decision on. If you are thinking of publishing your photos to calendars or books then a 10MP should be the minimum. Posted: Sep 7, 2008 4:51pm |
