However, when the beta test is over, Viscape will switch over to a pay-per-lead model. Listers will only pay for leads when Viscape performs. For listers who opt not to pay, their listings will still be visible on the Viscape site but have fewer services and features available. More announcements on this will be made soon. Viscape has every incentive to drive as many leads as possible to paid listers.

This entitles you to get additional leads and referrals through Viscape's deal network and there are many other benefits.

C) Write your username and password down somewhere safe so you will have them if you forget them.
D) Click Sign Up.
E) Important: When you submit your signup information, you must click a link in an authorization message sent to the email address you provided before you will be able to log into Viscape.
Check the inbox of the email address you used to register, including your spam mail (if necessary), to find the authorization email and click on the link provided to verify your account. The message may also not be at the top of your spam mail box, because sometimes other emails have future dates. The Viscape message will be dated for today.
Also add do_not_reply@viscape.com to your email contacts list of your email service to prevent Viscape messages from going to spam in the future.
F) Once your account is officially activated, click Sign In at the top of any Viscape page OR click on the YOU column and enter your screenname and password under Already a Member? and then click Sign In.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do all these things and you still can’t find your authorization email, then we will activate your account manually. But to help us help you we need you to please do the following things:
i) Please click on the Feedback link at the bottom of any Viscape page.
ii) Then select “Request for help” on the pulldown menu.
iii) Write your issue, real name and screenname in the space provided.
iv) Click send.
G) You will receive an email confirmation that we have activated your account manually and you may sign in using your username and password normally.

TOPTo cancel your profile from public view, do the following: Log into your Viscape account. Go onto the YOU page. Click the "edit" link on the dashboard page (this will open up your personal information and settings). Delete all your private information (pictures, videos, location, etc). At the bottom of the page, in the Privacy Settings section, you will see “Make my profile visible to:" followed by a drop-down menu box. Click on the drop-down menu box and change it to "Nobody but me". Click the orange Update button at the bottom of the page.
TOPLog into your account, and go to your profile. Scroll down until you see your property, and click on the property title. In the middle of the screen, you should see the button "Update Listing". Click this button. On the property listing page, click the grey tab that says "Media & Links". Scroll down until you see the Pictures section. Click Add Picture in an open picture slot, and browse for your saved pictures. Click Upload. Then click Update at the bottom of the page. This will save your picture to your property.
We also recommend that you crop your photos in an image editor prior to loading them on the site. For best results, crop your picture to a 4 x 3 (width-to-height) aspect ratio and resize it to 1024 x 768 pixels. Photos must be smaller than 1MB and be saved as .gif, .jpg and .png files. Be sure you have the right to post the image; if necessary, you can provide appropriate attribution in the credit field provided.

Click “edit details” under the relevant picture to open the Edit Photo page. Click a check on the “Crop Image” box to the top left of the picture indicating that you want to crop the photo. Next click on the image of the photo. Drag and crop the image as necessary. You will see a 3x4 box showing a preview of how the picture will look once it is cropped. Then, click below on the orange Submit button to save the image when done.

TOPThere is no limit to the number of photos you can upload on Viscape. However, there are size restrictions of up to 1MB. Viscape cannot accept photos larger than 1 MB, so these must be resized before loading. Make sure you save as you go. You do not want to load up 6 pictures only to find that you forgot to press the "Update" button.

Zoom in until you find your street and the approximate location of your property. Drag the arrow there. When done, press the orange Confirm button.
Alternatively, you can type the property address into the Search the Map field at the bottom and click Go. After the marker relocates, then click the orange Confirm button. This feature helps especially well in places where Google maps are less detailed and areas outside the United States.

TOPCalendars are manually updated by the owner/management of the company by logging into Viscape, and clicking "Update listing". Click on the calendar tab, and set the calendar block-out/available dates by clicking on the green (available) button or the orange (unavailable) button. Then click on the relevant calendar dates.
TOPLog into Viscape, and clicking "Update listing". Click on the amenities tab, and click on the boxes that fit the property specifications. Its set up like multiple choice. Make sure you save the information.
TOPLog into your account, and go to your YOU profile. Scroll down to Your Properties, click on the relevant property title, and click "Update listing". Click on the pricing tab.
To change the Nightly Price, Weekly Price, Monthly Price, and Minimum Stay information, click on the “edit” link under “actions”. Click the Submit button when you are done.
To add Additional Fees, Accepted Payment Methods, and Terms and Conditions, simply enter the information into the fields provided. Don’t forget to save the information by clicking the orange Update button at the bottom of the page. IMPORTANT: Viscape works differently than some other sites. Viscape will automatically calculate the lowest average nightly price from your weekly price and monthly prices (if you have entered those prices). You can override this nightly price calculation by typing a price into the Nightly Price Override field. Make sure you save the information by clicking the orange Update button at the bottom of the page.
TOPYou have to log into your account to see your leads. Once you log into your account, you can go to your inbox either by clicking Unread Messages at the top right of the screen or by clicking on the YOU column and then clicking on the Mail tab, and respond to the leads. If you have forgotten your password, you will have to reset it. If you have forgotten your username, please send an Email to info@viscape.com.
